\n this passage was understood to mean there would come a messiah,
\n a prophet, and that Elijah, reincarnated, would precede him.
\n Therefore, on that statement, the Old Testament ends.
\n The Pharasees and Essenes [Nazarenes], Jesus, all understood reincarnation.
\n It was the Roman world that did not, and outlawed it.<\/p>\n
